Customer Experience Specialist (Part-Time)

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you provide dedicated customer service via email and social media in response to inquiries about products and services, and to resolve customer complaints. At Alabaster, we value that our readers have a "beautiful reading experience"—by having one-on-one interactions with our customers, you are an active part of building strong relationships with our customers. You provide customer feedback and trends to our internal team, and are a crucial asset to product and process improvements. You will work closely with the founding team.

What you'll be doing (including but not limited to):

  • Interact with customers via company's email and social media to provide information about products or services, resolve complaints, and respond to inquiries.
  • Work closely with our fulfillment team to resolve product returns, damages, and reshipments.
  • Maintain metrics of customer interactions, including details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Communicate customer experience trends, issues, and results to the team.
  • Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
  • Help each other reach our goals!
  • Other duties and projects assigned according to ongoing business needs.

What you bring to the table:

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and people-oriented.
  • Intermediate skills including: all G-Suite apps.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Friendly and outgoing with excellent verbal and written communication.
