FEEDING AMERICA

FEEDING AMERICA

We partnered with Feeding America during this COVID-19 pandemic, helping to make sure that everyone—from students without lunch programs to seniors who can't access grocery stores—will have the food they need. We were able to donate 10,000 meals altogether.

PS ARTS

We partnered with PS Arts during Christmas 2019—an organization dedicated to providing arts education to underserved communities in our hometown of Los Angeles.

GIVING TUESDAY (2018)

GIVING TUESDAY (2018)

During Giving Tuesday, and throughout December, of 2018 we partnered with three organizations—Hope International, Homeboy Industries, and National Alliance to End Sexual Violence—to give back.

Hope International invests in the creative dreams of families in the world's underserved communities as they proclaim and live the Gospel. Homeboy Industries provides hope, training, and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated men and women, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of their community. The National Alliance to End Sexual Violence helps fight against sexual violence and provides support to survivors.

ALABASTER X IVP

In partnership with IVP, we present the Alabaster Guided Meditations series. Select design and imagery from the Alabaster | Gospel of John and Alabaster | Gospel of Matthew are presented alongside guided meditations by Bible teacher, author, and spiritual director Jan Johnson. Carefully crafted as a practical, study-focused, accessible version of Alabaster's other bible books, Guided Meditations invites readers into deeper reflection through incorporating the church's ancient lectio divina and visio divina traditions. Though the intersection of photography, layouts, and meditations—readers are invited to experience these books anew.

ALABASTER X BIBLE PROJECT

We collaborated with The Bible Project on image series for their 5th issue of The Quartery—Upside-Down Kingdom. A gift to Bible Project supporters, The Quarterly is a publication exploring the behind-the-scenes work of The Bible Project.

ALABASTER X YEAR OF THE BIBLE

We came along side organizations like Pulse, BibleProject, Streetlight, Spoken Gospel, and many more to declare 2020 as the Year of the Bible. Year of the Bible is a national campaign whose purpose is to inspire and engage more people in the Bible, more often. A historic collaboration of organizations, people, artists, musicians, designers, politicians – groups from almost every walk of life are collectively declaring 2020 to be the Year of the Bible.

ALABASTER X CULTURE CARE

Birthed and crafted by artist/writer Makoto Fujimura, “Culture Care” is a movement toward renewal born from the integration of his art and his Christianity. We collaborated with Fujimura on a series of videos around the Culture Care movement.

ALABASTER X HILLSONG

We came alongside Hillsong for their Team Box—a monthly subscription of messages, worship, apparel and more encouraging you to live life to the fullest. Alabaster Gospel of John was featured in the July 2019 Hillsong Team Box.
